After weeks of email exchanges and preparation, Professor John Marshall and Gail Marshall (husband and wife) arrived on April 4 to offer a helping hand to the children of the Golden Children School in Denu. Gail spent most of her time with the kids in the nursery school while John mostly worked with the older children.
"The month I spent in Ghana passed so quickly and yet when I remember what I saw – what I experienced – and what I learned, I cannot believe I wasn’t there longer. I think back often to my children in Adaklu-Wumenu and at New Nation School".
