Our Mission
We organize and undertake humanitarian, volunteer, internship and capacity building projects, educational and cultural exchange trips tailored to the interests of volunteers, interns, groups, donors and partners worldwide to alleviate the challenges of Africa.

Our Vision
We strive to improve the lives of people and build the capacity of institutions through the power of humanity by organizing and undertaking humanitarian projects in a caring and responsive manner.

We accept and work with volunteers and interns from all parts of the world. We have so far hosted volunteers and interns from many countries in all continents. HWI organizes and arranges specific projects, educational and cultural exchange trips for volunteers, interns and partners worldwide.

Year round, volunteers, interns and partners are welcome to help toward the achievement of these principles that reflect the United Nations’ Millennium Development Goals: Eradicating Poverty, Increasing Access to Education, Improving Health and Promoting Peace.
